Areas of support

Support for what you carry—and how you learned to carry it.

Emotional concerns rarely arrive in neat categories. Therapy can make space for the patterns, relationships, contexts, and body responses that overlap beneath the surface.

Reasons people seek therapy

Experiences Drisana may support.

This is not a diagnostic checklist. It is a starting point for recognizing concerns that may be present in your life.

Trauma

When the past still feels close

Lingering activation, shutdown, intrusive memories, disconnection, or protective responses shaped by overwhelming experiences.

Anxiety

When it is hard to settle

Persistent worry, vigilance, perfectionism, indecision, or the feeling that you must stay prepared for what could go wrong.

Stress

When your system has had enough

Burnout, caregiving strain, work pressure, irritability, exhaustion, or difficulty moving out of survival mode.

Relationships

When connection feels complicated

Attachment patterns, conflict, people-pleasing, isolation, boundary concerns, or wanting to feel more secure in relationships.

Transitions

When life changes shape

Grief, role changes, identity exploration, endings, beginnings, or the disorientation that can come with a new season of life.

Self-relationship

When you want another way to be with yourself

Shame, self-criticism, disconnection from needs, or a wish for more agency, compassion, and internal trust.

How therapy may help

More room between what happens and how you have to respond.

The work may help you recognize patterns earlier, relate to your reactions with less judgment, and expand your sense of choice.

Therapy is not a guarantee of a particular outcome. Progress can be uneven and personal, and Drisana will collaborate with you on goals that reflect your priorities.

Fit and scope

Starting with the right level of support matters.

Oasis provides scheduled outpatient psychotherapy by telehealth. It is not an emergency, crisis, or continuously monitored service.

Drisana offers individual outpatient psychotherapy for adults and teens navigating anxiety, trauma, depression, attachment and relationship patterns, chronic stress, life transitions, identity concerns, communication challenges, chronic pain or illness, and personal growth.

During a consultation, Drisana can help assess whether her practice and approach appear appropriate for what you need. If another level or type of care would be a better fit, she may discuss referral options.

A first step

You can start by asking whether this feels like the right fit.

A brief consultation is a place to share what you are looking for, ask questions, and get a sense of whether working together may feel right.
